A Little About Me

Hey there.  I’m Robin and this is my family.  I am a South Carolina girl (that pulls for Clemson) living in the great state of KY.   I am a wife, a mom, a former home school teacher,  a daughter, a sister, a friend and a follower of Christ.  My kids are Wyatt and Leah and my most wonderful man is Kevin.  I love to spend time in God’s word and have a desire to help my children, and others, grow in grace and in the knowledge of Jesus Christ.  I am not perfect but by His grace am learning daily to be content and to put my hope in Him.

I stay pretty busy with all kinds of stuff that I just love to do, and some stuff that I don’t like very much.  A few “loves” at the top of the list are: spending time with my family, listening to my kids sing & laugh, reading, cooking, & spending time in God’s word.  I also enjoy making jewelry and cards, scrap booking, and sewing – though I don’t do any of those things very often.   Housework and laundry are not my favorite things but I believe that I am called to be manager of our home so I clean floors and fold laundry as unto the Lord.  Chocolate is my favorite food group!  (OK, I know it’s not a food group but I really think it should be!).  And, oh yeah, I love sweet tea!!

My hope is that those who visit my little “portion” will be encouraged and will enjoy reading of our journey.  Please come back anytime to see what we’re up to and to see what the Lord is teaching me.

  1. About chocolate: I’m not sure I could live without it, so as a food group: Yes! And could coffee be considered another? Glad to “meet” you and your family here.
