Unredeemed ~ A Meditation

Mon_meditations_revd

Sometimes a song just speaks to our hearts.  Yesterday morning, during the worship service, “Unredeemed” by Selah was the special music.  I don’t think that I have ever heard it before but can’t get it out of my mind.  Here are part of the lyrics:

The cruelest world
The coldest heart
The deepest wound
The endless dark
The lonely ache
The burning tears
The bitter nights
The wasted years

Life breaks and falls apart
But we know these are
Places where grace is soon to be so amazing
It may be unfulfilled
It may be unrestored
But when anything that’s shattered is laid before the lord
Just watch and see
It will not be unredeemed

What a marvelous thought!  “….when anything that’s shattered is laid before the lord….it will not be unredeemed.”
I am thankful for His amazing, redeeming grace!!
Joy to You!
