Back in May we attended the Teach Them Diligently Convention in Nashville, TN. I entered to win a drawing with Rachael Carmen and I won!! This is my prize package.
At the end of June, Leah and I went to Mother/Daughter camp for a few days at Camp LaVida here in SC.
Early July came with the chance to see good friends from TX. Here’s my favorite photo from that day of our kids.
I love to cook, especially when I can grill in the summer. Here are cheddar potatoes and corn — both cooked on the grill! Yummy!
Speaking of yummy, we found out last week that our little town is getting a Papa John’s. We’re very excited!!
The kids went to grandparents for a whole week and what did I do?
Planned for the school year. To some it may seem boring or just not what you’d want to do with a whole week to yourself but as a homeschooling mama, I LOVED it. I got so much accomplished and when they returned, I was mostly ready for the new school year.
The only thing I did not do was organize their school shelves. I left that to them.
And so they set them up the way they want them to be.
Once planned and organized, we had our first day this week.
I just love them!!!
Then he started Rosetta Stone Spanish.
He put on the headset and said, “I feel like a fighter pilot — just without the helmet……And the plane!!!
I laughed out loud. And just had to take a photo and post it on Instagram, Twitter, Facebook.
Thanks for joining me.
